For someone, I’m sure. Not sure what kind of Ferrari that is.
Also seen on my bike ride today was a gorgeous white Pagoda 4 speed, an ML63 AMG, SL55 AMG, and 196,000 black GLs.
Finally, wtf is this?

Pretty sure that’s a 360, Doug.
Also a Camero.

I figured it was either a 355 or 360.
But seriously on the Camero, wtf with those huge chunks of (presumably) rubber on the side?

they’re to prevent dings from people opening car doors on them, though the placement of them may not work too well

I’m sure - but as you point out, the ones on the door appear to be a few inches too high to do their job.
Also, they’re as ugly as sin, and I’d worry about them damaging the paint underneath - I wonder if those are just on the car when parked, or permanent.

The ones I’ve seen are magnetic and if I were (I don’t) to use them I wouldn’t keep them on 24/7

Those are plastique placed there by the local ruling Mustang clan. Good thing you booked it out of there before detonation.
Nah, I got nuthin’. Just came to point out that no garage can be a dream garage while it’s all in gray scale.

I did hear a lot of sirens about 20 minutes after I took the picture of the Camero...
Yeah, the color choices leave a lot to be desired on those cars. I like it on the Landy (my favorite of the 3) hate it on the Ferrari, and it’s whatever on the C class.

If these were all white, they would have a shot at being a dream garage for me.

That Camaro reminded me: An option we don’t have in the North American market that they have in the EU on the Ford Focus is a mechanical fold-out door edge protector that extends the moment the door is opened, then retracts right before the door closes. I want them on all my doors for when I have kids.

That’s a really cool idea - the protectors on that Camaro seem like overkill to me, but something subtle like you describe would be great-

They didn’t come as standard on E.U. Cars. I’ve only ever seen them on 2013 German Focus’s.

I wish I had those, so I could sell them and buy a house. ~Mr. Buzzkillington

I could see that. Wonder which is worth the most- presume it’s the Brit?

360 Sypders seem to ranger from 100,000-180,000 90 Series Defenders 50-80,000(that is what we’re looking at right?) I don’t even know what AMG that is so I can’t lol it up. But I’m sure if I wanted a quick sale I’d could get 200,000 for all three. That would buy a lot of house where I live. Or at least a 80% down payment which would be pretty good for the crdit score.

Yes on the Defender- I had 110 prices in my head when I typed that, and didn’t realize 360 Spyders were that high.
The C class actually isn’t AMG- just has the sport package and AMG wheels. I’d have cut it out of the pictures if I could - but at least it’s silver? :)

I was surprised by the 360 Spyder price too, the cheapest one I saw was 79,900 but it was high mileage and modified

I never said it was standard, just an option. But a really cool one. I’m sure other cars have it as an option as well, I just love the concept.
I wonder how they work; if I knew they’d work on mine, I’d order the parts in.

I didn’t mean to imply you did. My bad.
I didn’t even know about it till recently after seeing the new Skoda Kodiaq has it.
It’s certainly a great idea. Nobody really wants those awful rubber/plastic strips running around the door edge that spoil the look of the car.
